Experience: After many years working in New York City hospitals (NYU/Rusk Institute and New York Hospital and Cornell Medical Center), I worked in Westport, CT where I had my own practice for 12 years.

What I do for fun:  Lots of individual sports including skiing, bike riding, cooking, spending time with my husband, 2 adult children and 2 elderly dogs.

My superpower is: EMPATHY

Barbara Greenspan, MS, OTR has been an occupational therapist for over 30 years.  She has worked in hospitals, the home care setting and private pediatric clinics.  Teaching at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut is also her passion where she teaches the next generation of occupational therapists.  Barbara also consults with major companies with regard to play and child development. 

 

Teaching children to ride bicycles is also one of her strengths and she’s taught over 100 children to ride!  Barbara is the parent to 2 young adults and 2 dogs
