THE GAMES GROUP
We know that PLAY is at the core of being a child. The "Games Group" will provide a therapeutic environment to practice the developing skills for game playing and participation with peers!
We are looking forward to giving kids the chance to play and socialize with an occupational therapist present to facilitate and support the growth of the children in a safe space!
3-5 yo group: Skill building in the areas of: social skills, cooperative play, turning taking, and appropriate emotional regulation. Wednesdays 4:30-5:25.
5-8 yo group: Introducing more competitive games, while working on emotional regulation, and learning to have fun no matter the outcome of the game! Wednesdays from 5:30-6:25.
