BS in Biology and Psychology (double major), University of Notre Dame
MS in Occupational Therapy, New York University
What I do for fun: Spending time with family, traveling, reading, listening to podcasts, catching a good movie or series and being outdoors.
My superpower is: Keeping sessions fun while also targeting the development of skills your child needs to be successful at home and at school!
Experience:
Heidi has been an occupational therapist since 2012. She has worked in adult rehabilitation, public and private schools, and private pediatric clinics. She has advanced trainings in Handwriting Without Tears, Sensory Integration, Reflex Integration, Vision Therapy, Brain Gym, S'cool Moves, Astronaut Training, Quickshifts (Listening Program), the Safe & Sound Protocol (Listening Program), and the Holistic Approach to Neurodevelopmental Learning and Efficiency (HANDLE).
Heidi is also working on obtaining her Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) Certification, and ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD - CCSP) Certification.
